The daisy is predominantly native to Europe and Western Asia. They were used in folk medicine as a remedy for skin conditions, headaches and dizziness. The daisy was named Medicinal Plant of the Year 2017.
Daisies can be enjoyed raw in a salad or as an ingredient in herb butter or quark. They add a dash of colour to any dish and look very attractive. They can also be steeped in hot water to make a tea.
Daisies are available in white, yellow and red.
