Coriander

Coriander

Coriander (Coriandrum sativum), one of the most widespread herbs in the world, divides society. Coriander has long been known as either a poisonous plant with a soapy flavour, or a delicacy, indispensable to any Asian or Mexican dish. Nonetheless, its medicinal effects, whether antispasmodic, stimulating or wound-healing, are undisputed.

Coriander is growing in popularity in Switzerland. Its fresh leaves are used to garnish or refine Asian and South American dishes.

Coriander should be stored at fridge temperature. If stored at too high a temperature it goes off relatively quickly and will become inedible.
